Absence

Well, they've finally done it.

The US Army is silencing me....

For about a month. Got you!

I'm headed to California for some extra hectic training, or so I've been told, that includes being cut off from the outside world for three or so weeks. So I will be unable, among other things, to write a new post for this growing blog. I can hear the gasps of shock and dismay now...

On the positive side, I have extended an invitation to a special guest to write a post or two in my absence. While I have not heard back from them yet, I am upbeat and confident that they will accept and you, the readers, will be delighted and surprised with a change of pace piece or two. With any luck, however, it will not overshadow my work. It'd be a shame to be bumped from my own blog not two months into it.

So delay the emails and letters, save the words for another time. I'll be back soon enough.
